Patriotism
The Patrick Gillmore Chapter is fortunate to be a part of a very patriotic community. The communities of Scottsville and Allen County welcome the patriotic displays, and activities we incorporate into the rural culture of our home town.
Revolutionary War Soldier/Patriot:
Commemorative Plaque Dedication
On November 9, 2013, the Patrick Gillmore Chapter dedicated a commemorative plaque honoring Revolutionary War soldiers and patriots. The plaque is located in the Allen County Judicial Center, in Scottsville, Kentucky.
Veterans Day
Veteran’s Day Gift Assembly: Patrick Gillmore Chapter members’ donated gifts to 25 local Veterans’ living in nursing facilities.

This display window is located on the Scottsville Square and was designed to honor the Veterans from​ Allen County. The photos range from World War I to present day. We can not repay the sacrifice they have made for our freedom, but we honor them with respectful displays in the community.
Constitution Day
Constitution Day Bell Ringing Ceremony

This poster is used to remind citizens of Allen County to remember the importance of our Constitution, and how it protects each person every day.
Flag Day
On June 14, 2014 the Boy Scouts of America Troop #149 preformed a flag retirement ceremony at the chapter's meeting.
Memorial Day Ceremony
Annually Chapter members attend the Memorial Day Celebration hosted by Strode Funeral Home.
