Membership Eligibility

Any woman is eligible for membership who is at least eighteen years of age, and can prove lineal decent from an ancestor who fought or aided in achieving American independence during the Revolutionary War. No chapter may discriminate against an applicant on the basis of race or creed.

Patrick Gillmore Chapter welcomes new members interested in historic preservation, education, and patriotism. We encourage prospective members to visit our chapter, which meets on the second Saturday of each month. Please contact us if you are interested in DAR membership and in attending our meetings.

Learning more about NSDAR can be accomplished by visiting the Official DAR Channel on YouTube. This video, "Today's DAR," provides information about member activities and DAR historical sites. The video is embedded below. Please check it out.
